Dubai Public Hospitals   

In Dubai, public hospitals are owned and administered by either the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or the UAE Ministry of Health (MOH). Residents can apply for a Health Card, which enables them to avail of public health services at highly subsidized rates.

Public healthcare facilities in Dubai are generally of excellent standard, although they can be busy during peak hours. If you are involved in a traffic accident, you will most likely be taken to Rashid Hospital, which receives the majority of trauma cases in Dubai.

 If the Rashid is very busy, trauma cases are generally received by the Dubai Hospital.
