Hi, I am looking for an emergency medical evacuation possibility for our future employees in Malawi. Is it possible to get an insurance that covers only for emergency evacuation? Our existing insurances cover all the other things that are needed. Thank you for your help! In areas such as Africa where the overall standard of hospitals is quite low, it is essential to have coverage not only for hospitalization, but also emergency evacuation. This means that if you are ill or injured and the closest facility is not of the required standard, then you will be evacuated to an area of a higher medical standard, whether that be locally or internationally, and also covered for the subsequent treatment at the other end.
